Dear Gomde California Sangha,

We are delighted to share the good news that today, on the 25th of the lunar month (Dakini Day), a grand Dzambhala Puja was held on behalf of Gomde California sangha members and donors. Thank you to all who donated to Gomde California during our Dzambhala puja fundraiser. May your merit, wisdom, and wealth grow and expand!

Gomde California’s resident teacher Lama Tsultrim led over 50 monks of Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling in the practice of Lama Norlha, which is Dzambhala inseparable from Guru Rinpoche, for the material and Dharma wealth of Gomde California and all of our sponsors. The names of those who made donations specifically during this fundraiser will be mentioned in the wealth puja, but the merit is dedicated to everyone who is connected with Gomde. So, if you are a Gomde California sangha member, that means you!

Gomde California sangha member and ordained monk Kaleb Yaniger shares with us that an alter was constructed in Ka-Nying’s main prayer hall especially for this puja, which was exquisite in its detail. The assembly also performed a cleansing smoke (sang) offering associated with Lama Norlha, and specific wealth deity protector offerings, and a “prosperity evocation” (yang guk) practice.

Gomde California’s collective offering also sponsored special food for the monks, as well as monetary offerings to Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, to the Lama Norlha mandala, to Lama Tsultrim, as well as to each of the monks.

Kaleb tells us, “Everything went really, really nicely, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. Thank you everybody!” A big thank you to Kaleb for helping to arrange this puja for Gomde California, and our sincere gratitude to all who supported this practice and who continue to support our community.
